Hi, my name is Nick Olivo. I'm a character designer as well as a sequential artist. My hope is to work in 2-D animation or in the comic book industry. I recently graduated from Westwood College with a Bachelor's degree in game art and design. Thanks to my courses at Westwood I now have a better understanding of the production process that goes into most commercial products and I have a better grip of several digital programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3DS Max. I still prefer the traditional methods of pen and paper, only using photoshop for touch ups and colors. This site is the culmination of my better works that display my skill as a character designer and a sequential artist, as well as an all around 2-D artist. As you will notice as you go through my works I enjoy to draw and redesign pre-existing characters but I also like to put my imagination to the test and come up with my own characters. As you explore the site you'll notice that I try to explain the mediums and thought process behind much of my work.
